People still need to use business cards!!

With today's world of twitter, facebook, email, gmail, google plus, skype....its easy to forget about the little old 3.5 by 2 business card. But with any business, the best and most important contacts are often face to face!! Its more personal and tells more about who you are. 


Building new relationships face to face is just as, if not more important than building relationships through the internet and other outlets. One of the best ways to secure a face to face connection is by exchanging business cards with new contacts.


A business card is often the first impression that a new acquaintance will have of your company. So it really has to be either visually sharp or at least relate to the service or product you are promoting. So when designing a card, I try to think about how it will really help my client when used. Its really a mistake to just slop one together for the sake of having one.


I would even recommend as far as going with upgraded options likes rounded corners, double sided, high gloss uv coating, spot uv coating, fold-able business cards or my favorite...the plastic business card. It looks like a credit card. Its sleek and people will less likely throw it away. 




Remember....old school forms of communication often stand the test of time!!
